Joomla is highly adaptable. We are basing a business directory on the platform and we plan to do the same for an upcoming portal project. There are literally thousands of modules available and many are free. Personally I am finding the learning curve slower compared to WordPress, but that's because of the extensive array of options for customization..

I noticed your Joomla deployment for statenewslines.com – very nice and clever use of RSS feeds for the content, great work. We deploy a number of websites using Joomla! CMS since it is portable, simple to execute and maintain and fairly easy to customize.

It has been 40 yrs. since we adopted Kecia. We went thru the Florence Crittendon Home for Un-wed Mothers in Wheeling. It was thru the Methodist Church. I understand they still have a home in Burlington, WV. I suppose they still have an adoption program. Adopting is a wonderful thing. We have never regretted it for a moment. God Bless you in your endeaver.

The relative ‘strength of regions’ might just be arbitrary. Hard to argue we are more like FL (or AK) than, say, OH or PA. Sadly, Paul, our state would ‘drag down’ every other region, so I doubt it matters. Except to say, WV has not kept up for the last number of years. Makes one wonder whether all the federal fun-money might not just inhibit organic growth.
