ReadAloud celebrates ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ 50th birthday with Seuss-a-Palooza  this Thursday evening

Anyone who cares about children and the future of West Virginia has the opportunity to nurture the state’s literary landscape,” Bond said. “Reading education begins long before a child enters school. We cannot look to teachers alone to raise readers; we all have a role to play and we are all affected by the reading abilities of others.

The Dr. Seuss book “Green Eggs and Ham,” at 50, is still appealing to children and adults worldwide. ReadAloud will celebrate the book’s milestone anniversary with “Seuss-a-Palooza!” this week.

The fundraising event, to be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Brickstreet Insurance, 400 Quarrier Street in Charleston.
