Charleston man arrested for allegedly opening fire on 7-Eleven

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Charleston man faces 19 felony counts of wanton endangerment — one for every bullet he alledgedly fired — for allegedly shooting up a 7-Eleven convenience store on the city’s East End early Tuesday.

Charleston Police Sgt. Eric Hodges said Justin Tyler Robbins, 18, jumped out of a green SUV in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Washington Street East at about 3:15 a.m. and opened fire with what appeared to be a fully automatic rifle. Hodges said the shooter fired numerous rounds.
