I found one of Daniel’s baby rattles today. Surprise. It’s a Catapillar. Who would’ve guessed?
It’s interesting to think back about all of the ‘small things’ that were a big part of your children’s lives. I wonder if Daniel’s love if creatures were influenced by little things like this! (Ha!)
Kristen and Lily :))
I think this is one of my favorite pictures of Kristen and Lily. Funny how it’s just the honest moments of love and laughter that are so authentic and memorable!

What to Write About?
I was recently inspired by these two blog posts by Seth Godin and John Saddington – each making the point that they have written every day for quite some time. That’s an amazing display of discipline! I want to start writing and sharing more. I’ve realized that...
Bible center church last night
While the kids were in AWANA last wednesday night, I had the opportunity to go for a walk around the church property as the sun was setting. Breathtaking. God’s truly doing some wonderful things in the lives of people. Kristen and I have been part of Bible Center...
Sunbathing for lizards
I set a heat lamp up today for the terrarium. All of the lizards came out to catch some rays!
Amazing front porch Morning View
Awesome view today!!
iPhone 6s video quality options
I’m sticking with 30 frames per second but going with the high definition format. I think it would be interesting to have a choice for this closer to the actual camera interface versus down in the settings. I can see situations we might want to change it...
iPhone 6s slow-motion video quality options
I’m making the choice to be able to capture extremely slow motion vs larger format video.
Preschool at Bible Center Offers New Flexible Schedule
Traditionally its been a full-time program. Now its open to children just a couple days a week. You can enroll anytime. I highly reccomend checking it out. For our children it’s been an incredibly awesome experience.
United States Electricity Map
This is pretty cool (or hot)… the Washington Post mapped power plants in the United States by type and capacity in megawatts. Interesting to see all that it takes to power a nation! Via: FlowingData
23 Languages Rule the World
There are 7102 known languages live in the world today. 23 of these languages are the native tongue of 4.1 billion people. How many languages do you speak? Via: Daily Infographic
Andrew Carnegie’s 10 Rules of Success
Here’s a synopsis of the rules, which appear in Hill’s The Science of Success: Which rules do you feel matter most? 1. Define your purpose. Create a plan of action and start working toward it immediately. 2. Create a “master-mind alliance.” Contact and work with...
Government makes maps of all US internet service provider connections public
There’s a good reason why you don’t know how your data gets from one place to another on the internet. The major network cables that truss the United States haven’t ever been fully viewable to the public–until now. The Department of Homeland Security is making the map...
Hard to believe the leaves are starting to fall…
I love this time of year. The cool mornings. The feeling of a fresh change from summer. I wish fall would last longer. It always seems to go so quick. What are some of the things you love most about fall?
Good morning everyone!! Ready for a great week?
I am hooked on these little guys. As much as I love coffee – I really love to start my day with one of these little icy cold expresso’s. If you see me in line at Starbucks, this is what I’m after. I hope your day starts of just as well!
Daniel let his little tree frog go that he raised from a tadpole. Proud of him for being able to let go like that.
Tree frog
I’m so proud of Daniel for letting this little guy go. He had found him as a tadpole in a puddle and raised him up ina little aquarium over a 2 month period. He’s about as big as dime now. We’ve been feeding him fruit flies –...
Excited to welcome Bible Center School’s New Principal Josh Bacchus
What a blessing to have Josh’s experience, character, leadership and inspiration joining www.biblecenterschool.com
Tunnel
Who knew that when they built the Ridges, that the tunnel over the creek would be such a destination for Daniel!
Creeky Cave
Each week he creeps back into this little cave a little further and further. Someday I think he might find something he doesn’t want to!
Good catch
This was last week. This week was crazy. Daniel is getting good at this.
